Basic Functions and Scope of Job : We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. You will also play a key part in managing invoicing, procurement, budgeting, and assisting with monthly financial reporting and audits.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Review and prepare general ledger and subsidiary ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment.

Track capital expenditures and assist with maintaining the asset register, ensuring plant assets are reviewed annually.

Manage invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Assist with the procurement process, including creating and tracking purchase orders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits as needed.

Communicate regularly with teams in sales, purchasing, logistics, and other departments to foster a solution-driven environment.

Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain accuracy.

Requirements :

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience with financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting functions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Proficiency with accounting software, MS Excel, and SAP / ERP systems.

Strong understanding of journal entries, accounts payable, invoicing, and procurement processes.

High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
