Position Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Coach/Trailer Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our manufacturing facility focused on the production of mobile medical coaches. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, maintain high-quality production processes, and lead a team of skilled workers in a fast-paced environment.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the medical coach manufacturing process at TDC Trailer.
- Ensure that production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations specific to medical coach manufacturing.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a productive and positive work environment aligned with TDC Trailer's commitment to excellence.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality specific to TDC’s standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain and enforce adherence to all safety protocols and procedures within the production environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production areas to ensure cleanliness and organization in line with TDC's operational standards.
- Develop and maintain effective communication between shifts and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare reports on production performance, labor utilization, and material usage for senior management review.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as required, ensuring they align with TDC Trailer’s values and mission.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations relevant to medical coach and trailer production.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in computer applications and manufacturing software.
- Ability to analyze data, develop metrics, and utilize them for improving production performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision, preferably in the specialty trailer industry.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Remote Work: This role will be primarily office based. If the need arises to work remote, including nights and weekends, employees are expected to work in a secure location to protect company data and have stable high-speed internet.
Additional requirements:
This is a full-time position. Employees are expected to work a general schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Employees may be required to work beyond the standard schedule to meet the deliverables and expectations of the role. Employees working from home, like those in an office, should use their time wisely and constructively plan their day since there is limited daily oversight.
