Summary
The position requires an organized individual to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven work environment. Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications required. We are seeking a team player with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities. The individual shall also be responsible for assisting and working with others in assuring quality of product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit Quality and Production processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Assist Quality Engineers with projects related to quality methodologies and procedures.
- Record and compile audit and test results. Prepare summary reports, graphs, and charts to identify and establish trends.
- Assist with quality training of production personnel.
- Move parts to various workstations throughout the facility as required, maintaining serial number traceability.
- Maintain work instructions for all active products and work collaboratively with members of the Quality department to ensure compliance with documented standards.
- Enter MRB updates and scrap transactions as directed.
- Write and submit customer concessions, interface with customer on submissions.
- Work with QE on performing gauge R&R studies.

Requirements
- This position requires knowledge of general Quality practices and basic computer operations.
- Must be able to perform data entry and maintain accurate records and files.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically using MS Excel.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to interface effectively with employees from other departments.
- Commitment to pursue ASQ Quality Technician certification.
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend.
