Job Description
The Group Segment Marketing Manageris responsible for the implementation and execution of segment-specific marketing strategies across all the channels to achieve the P&L objectives of the Strategic Business Units (SBUs). He/She/They will be skilled at building alignment and engagement when leading cross-functional teams including Category Management, Digital/eBusiness, Sales, RGM, CMI, Marketing Services and Global Brand Development (GBD).
This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our North Olmstead, OH office to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.
- Be the voice of the Single Family New Construction (SFNC) segment strategy across all channels and drive execution with cross functional teams.
- Co-lead the development of strategy on areas of growth within the SFNC segment in partnership with Sales
- Manage the SFNC budget
- Understand SBU P&L objectives to make sound go-to-market recommendations to drive top and bottom lines.
- Collaborate with SBU Category Management teams to identify and implement growth initiatives within our current product portfolio as well as expansion areas.
- Operate as the Segment Lead across all channels and collaborate with Channel Sales, Category Management, RGM, CMI, Marketing Communication and GBD in the areas of:
- Growth initiatives
- Program development and implementation
- Research including competitive insights and recommendations.
- Build and maintain segment expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis, and close collaboration with channel, sales and category management partners.
- Provide input to brand and merchandising messaging and ensure they align with the overall segment strategy by channel and drive the best possible customer experience within specific accounts.
- Lead the creation of a comprehensive ongoing segment situation analysis that monitors sales, margin, and volume across channels. Develop and improve Segment annual plans to address unexpected challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in marketing, Business or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales and/or marketing experience is required. SFNC experience is preferred. Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, engagement and building trust.
- Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability with basic financial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel approximately 25-35% of the time.
