Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in financial reporting, and experience with accounting software.Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- General Ledger Management : Review, reconcile, and maintain general ledger accounts, including month-end and year-end closings.
- Accounts Reconciliation : Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit & Compliance : Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight : Monitor and manage AP / AR processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Tax Preparation & Filings : Assist in preparing tax returns, sales tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement process enhancements to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior accountants and supporting business operations.Qualifications & Skills :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Knowledge : Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving : Ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
