Who are we?
We are a growing US based dental practice with a staff of 10-15 people looking for a friendly, positive, solution-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator who can help patients understand and plan for necessary treatments and provide scheduling/phone support.
Where is the role?
It is based in our Lakeville MN office next to SuperTarget and/or our Eden Prairie location next to Costco
What are the hours (in Central Standard Time)?
Monday 7am-4pm CST
Tuesday 7am-4pm CST
Wednesday 7am-4pm CST

How many hours is it?
It is about 40 hr per week on average, but can be part time or full time
What is the pay rate?
Range of $15-25/hr depending on experience & skills
What are the responsibilities?
· Answer incoming phone calls regarding treatment plans and provide answers/next steps based on the question.
· Schedule treatment appointments
- Call patients to follow up on treatment plans that haven’t been approved to discuss them with patients, educate on the benefits, and answer questions they have, etc.
· Reach out to patients to follow up on treatment plans that are scheduled- explain what to expect, review quote vs. insurance, be the main point of contact from the time the TC is confirmed to the finalization of the treatment and recovery.
- For approved, in process treatment plans, call patients to follow up on their treatment and how they are doing, any concerns, etc. Record these notes and if needed follow up with the Dr or team and respond to the patient.
- Audit treatment plans to ensure they are set up correctly. If they have been accepted, they should be signed, and filed with the correct date and nomenclature in the patient file. Down payment should be verified and payment receipt in file.
· Call patient to advise if the claim associated with their treatment plan was denied, explain why and ask them to call their insurance company directly.
The ideal candidate will have:
· At least 2 years experience managing incoming phone calls and/or working with patients in person in a dental office environment for a US based dental office
-At least 2 years experience with explaining treatment plans to patients regarding the need for the dentistry, what they should expect, what the cost will be, how dental insurance works, etc.
-Experience with scheduling dental appointments and looking at the schedule and optimizing it to ensure a smooth patient flow.
· Excellent oral and written English skills
· Positive, hard working, and proactive communicator
· Able to multi task and prioritize
· Self starter that looks for solutions and can problem solve
· Adept at using Microsoft word and excel
· Proficient with Curve Hero
· HIPAA compliant
· Knowledgable with Dental treatment, Dental Insurance, experience in a dental office and interacting with patients.
Salary : $15 - $25
