These include tax, tax planning, business and payroll needs, preparation of financial statements, and business consulting.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Manager level Accountant to join our accounting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing many types of federal and state tax returns along with other aspects of public accounting. This is a critical role within the firm, that requires a strong background in accounting and a deep understanding of tax regulations.
**Duties:**
* Prepare tax returns for individuals, fiduciary, partnerships, s-corporations, corporations, and exempt entities.
*Prepare and submit extensions.
* Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Utilize accounting software, including Easy Acct., Quickbooks, and Lacerte.
* Assist with audits, tax returns, and other financial compliance activities.
* Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or as a Senior Accountant.
* Ability to prepare and review financial reports.
* Experience with account reconciliation.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Certification in accounting, such as CPA or CPA eligibile is preferred.
