The Momofuku Goods Director of Conventional Grocery Sales will be responsible for leading and driving revenue growth within the conventional Food channel for Momofuku. This individual will build and develop existing relationships as well as identify and establish new partnerships. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in growing a fast-growing CPG brand in the conventional Food channel. This person should have experience managing a broker network and retailer partners. The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter who could flex up and can easily adjust between strategy and execution. They will be accountable for the achievement of account-specific goals, including volume objectives, forecast accuracy, promotional execution, distribution targets, new item speed to shelf and retail execution. This person should maintain a growth mindset and look for ways to seek new opportunities to win. The Director of Conventional Grocery Sales will report to the VP of Sales.
Salary Band: $155,000 - $175,000 annually

Responsibilities:
- Build out, drive, and execute the topline revenue growth at Momofuku and operating plan at key retailers within the conventional channel (Ahold Banners, Wakefern/Shoprite, Hy-Vee, Market Basket, Giant Eagle, Meijer).
- Collaborate with Senior Management and Marketing to develop and execute against company strategic direction, priorities, and financial guardrails.
- Leverage key consumption data sources, developing data-based storytelling and identifying effectively where to allocate retail marketing & trade spend.
- Negotiate funding agreements with retailer partners for all channels of trade.
- Manage key retailers: establish promotion calendars, new items, trade spend investment, post-promo analysis, and retail programs.
- Lead and inspire broker partners as an extension of our team, setting KPIs and objectives by quarter.
- Build and sustain current and new client relationships; working collaboratively to better understand business goals and needs.
- Partner with Operations and Finance to align on forecasts, demand planning and product profitability. Manage inventory levels to ensure a solid in stock position.
- Identify launch plans for new product innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing conventional key accounts for a fast growing CPG brand.
- Strong understanding of syndicated sales data (Nielsen, IRI or SPINS) and ability to leverage data and analytics in building convincing data-based sales stories.
- Track record of building successful relationships and sales strategies across channels and accounts (new and existing within the natural channel).
- Knowledge of trade promotions and levers for each account. Possess the ability to make recommendations and suggestions to buyers based on data and marketing vehicle knowledge.
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups leadership team.
- A team player willing to roll up their sleeves and help across the department when needed.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience managing conventional key accounts for a fast growing CPG brand.
- Ability to monitor market trends, providing regular competitor analysis and promo analysis.
- Proactive and strategic thinking with strong analytical orientation and an ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Experience meeting deadlines in high pressure and high change environments.
- Innate understanding of Momofuku internal processes and cross functional systems usage
