We are looking for a friendly and well-groomed Hotel Front Desk & Guest Services Agent to be responsible for greeting guests and managing reservations. As the first point of contact for many guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure a smooth operation at the front desk.
Hotel Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:
- Perform check-in and check-out tasks efficiently.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Welcome guests, assign rooms, and provide information about the hotel and its amenities.
- Answer customer queries via phone, online, or in person.
- Provide information about the hotel and surrounding areas, staying up-to-date on local attractions.
- Process customer payments and verify credit card information.
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
- Address guest complaints and escalate critical issues to supervisors.
- Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests.
- Keep the lobby and entrance areas clean and tidy.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel reservation software.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be highly organized.
- A customer-centric attitude.
- Familiarity with travel planning websites.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus but not required.
