We are seeking a dependable, energetic individual to lead a crew of landscapers as you create amazing projects together. Projects are typically residential and involve additions or renovations including paver walkways, steps, block walls and patios, along with various beautiful plant material.
Lead a winning team, work with up-to-date equipment, share your knowledge and creativity, and take pride and ownership in making our properties look their best.
Qualifications
- Two or more years working in the landscape field with a solid grasp of installation techniques, including drainage, walkways, patios, and wall construction. Candidates unable to show proof of their work should not apply.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliability and dependability - show up ready to work every day.
- Attention to detail, self-starter, confident working alone or with a small crew.
- Excellent English communication skills, including teachability and the willingness to learn new things.
- Enjoy directing and working hands-on with a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily landscape activities, ensuring high-quality care installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, edging, mulch, plant material, other gardening, and groundskeeping.
- Assist lawn care crews with spring and fall clean-ups.
- Supervise and train team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate projects and address concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
- Potential snow plowing work in the winter.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
