Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, organized individual for a full-time Office Manager (OM) position. The OM plays a pivotal role in the success of a dental office. They ensure that fundamental systems and protocols are in place within the practice, allowing the doctors and clinical staff to focus on dentistry. The OM forms a tight alliance with the doctors as the business leader of the practice. The OM is responsible for everyday tasks such as: handling needs like HR, marketing/advertising, IT, accounting, financial arrangements, posting insurance claims and other back-office functions, as well as ongoing training, practice, and staff development programs. They are responsible for the daily operations of the dental office including: Managing both employee and patient relations and achieving operational goals. Motivating office team members and proactively seeking ways to improve the dental practice. Leading by example, building a positive environment for staff and patients through a continual focus on building quality relationships. Successfully leading the front office staff in managing schedules to meet dentistry goals. Maintaining the office budget to achieve profitability. Motivating the entire staff to push for continual improvement in patient service. In addition to the above, an OM will: Ask how things can be done better. Define and share a vision for what success looks like for their office. Work with upper management, advisors and mentors to continually improve both themselves and the company. Monitor practice expenses regularly. Hold morning, team, and department meetings to motivate and inspire. Understand each employee’s strengths and needs. Consistently hold employees accountable for appropriate behavior and job performance and coach to success. Hold performance reviews annually.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be a leader, well organized, detail oriented, and a good communicator with great relationship skills. Goal oriented, self-starter, problem solver.
- Candidate will also be proficient in office management to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the practice.
- 5 years' experience in a dental office, management preferred Experience in a group practice setting is a plus.
- Superior written and communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions, exceed goals, and maximize opportunities.
- Experience with Dentrix and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Prior financial and treatment coordinator experience.
- Insurance experience (contract management, verification, communication, posting and sending statements, electronic claims, etc.)
- Post payments.
- Answer patient questions regarding presented treatment plans.
- Manage relationships with any 3rd party financing companies, e.g. Care Credit.
- Calculate estimates for treatment presentation in office.
- Manage accounts receivable on a weekly basis.
- Manage patient accounts.
- Phone support.
- A desire to contribute and enhance the growth and mission of our practice.

Job Type
Full-time: 5 Days/Wk on Average
Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday’s, 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
**1-2 days a week, will require traveling to Helena, MT. (A company vehicle will be provided for travel along with hourly compensation.)
