What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Montana Opticom,LLC?
Montana Opticom is seeking to expand both our sales and marketing activities and require an experienced and creative person with an understanding of marketing concepts to develop and implement strategies to promote and sell Montana Opticom’s services.
Your primary role will be to sell Montana Opticom services by planning and executing sales and marketing strategies for our specific market, including creating community and social media campaigns to implement these strategies.
Position offers competitive base pay plus commission.
Qualifications:
- Proven, documented sales track record, preferably in a related field
- Telecommunications experience preferred
- Self-starter with initiative
- Understanding of product, pricing, and promotion strategies
- Must be creative, flexible, and adaptable
- Ability to market and sell effectively in both residential and commercial markets
- Demonstrated ability to source prospects, build a pipeline, and close sales
- Ability to learn new systems and processes for pricing, contracting, and order entry
- Previous experience with CRM tools (like SalesForce.com) a plus
- A valid Driver’s license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase Montana Opticom’s overall visibility, reputation and presence with prospective customers.
- Develop and implement email, digital, and community promotional campaigns to build awareness
- Generate revenue and subscriber growth that exceeds the business plan.
- Assist in developing account strategies and plans, grow subscriber base, and increase cross-selling opportunities
- Participate in the development of sales messaging, pricing, and promotion
- Monitor and evaluate marketing activities and techniques used by competitors to assist Montana Opticom in securing market share
- Research and evaluate opportunities to promote Montana Opticom on third party portals, other websites or through mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Investigate third party services which may assist Montana Opticom in expanding its presence across a broader range of geographical territory.
- Leverage both inside sales and outside sales strategies to grow residential customer base
- Provide Management with accurate sales forecasting and maintain an active pipeline
- Develop a working knowledge of the market in which Montana Opticom competes
- Team with Customer Service to create a positive customer experience
- Build professional, productive relationships within the organization and externally

Pay: $64,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
