Monterey Spine & Joint is actively seeking dynamic and committed physical therapists to join our esteemed MSJ OCS Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. This rigorous, 11-month program is designed to provide a comprehensive education that integrates clinical practice, didactic instruction, and personalized mentorship, equipping residents for the Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist board examination and fostering a successful career in orthopaedic physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care under the mentorship of seasoned clinicians.
  • Engage in structured educational sessions including lectures, seminars, and case discussions.
  • Participate in one-on-one mentorship with board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialists.
  • Conduct research projects and present case studies pertinent to orthopaedic physical therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to community outreach and professional development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one in California.
  • Strong dedication to a career in orthopaedic physical therapy.

Qualifications

Compensation And Benefits

The residency position offers a competitive salary commencing at $86,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
