Cleaner/Janitor Child Care Center Part-Time

We are looking for a child care chef and cleaning personnel for our school. Must have experience working in a Child Care or School setting to be eligible.

Join our team and prepare delicious meals for our prestigious preschool. If you have experience working in a commercial kitchen and can prepare meals for up to 150 students daily let's connect soon.

We are looking for someone who is consistent, organized, and has reliable transportation. Full-Time or Part-Time option available.

Must be able to meal prep, cook and clean. The goal is to prepare meals and keep our school in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management (fresh, perishable, paper goods, etc)
• Meet Health & Human Services guidelines by acquiring Food Handlers certificate
• Must have basic experience working in child care setting and pass background check
• Prepare and distribute meals
• Keep kitchen and common areas clean and organized
• Disinfection/sanitation of dishes, countertops, stove, and all other kitchen equipment daily or more often if needed
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for children that meet proper nutritional requirements for 150 plus students and team
• Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining and tracking food allergies for each child in our center and communicates identified allergies to teachers daily with every food delivery.
• Adhere to proper food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures ensuring that food is stored and handled properly
• Partner with the Center Leadership team to purchase all food/supplies necessary and keep inventory records as required by local and state agencies
• Provide excellent customer service and positive attitude towards parents and children, listens and communicates effectively
• Demonstrates flexibility to the daily business need of a childcare center as assist as a teacher
• Supporting with cleaning and maintain the center's health and safety.

Skills

• Knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques
• Ability to work as a team and assist with cleaning the school
• Good Management stills
• Knowledgeable with cooking and distribution of means
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations

Job Type: Full-time 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
