Job Description
The Montgomery College Youth Programs provides high-quality courses that offer a variety of fun, educational, and engaging learning activities for students in grades K-12 in a safe and nurturing environment. As a part of the Youth Programs team, assistants will supervise students during class breaks while transferring from one camp to another and during lunch. Assistants will also assist the Youth Programs staff with preparing and collecting materials for individual camps. Depending on the assistant’s schedule, they may also be responsible for supervising students during before and aftercare.

- The hiring decision for youth camp, program assistants, and staff shall be determined at Management’s sole discretion.
- At least 18 years old.
- Eligible applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship.
- Experience working with school-aged students.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.

- Successfully passed CJIS and Child Protection Services background checks (youth care standards).
- Satisfactorily completed training.
- Submitted a health form reflecting the ability to handle work assignments with youth and colleagues.
- Attended a required orientation session (in person or remotely).
- Assistants will start on June 14, 2025, to help prepare for and be oriented in the required processes.
