WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services (CABHS) is currently recruiting for an efficient, friendly, knowledgeable office service coordinator with excellent communication and collaboration skills to join our team. The right candidate will have experience with medical billing, possess a high level of organization and attention to detail, will be effective and efficient and will have a deep respect for the families we serve as well as our own staff and partnering agencies. The ideal candidate will embody our mission of promoting healthy youth and families in Montgomery County by providing quality behavioral health treatment to those who experience barriers to services.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate office services for the outpatient behavioral health clinic.
- Provide effective customer service to clients and the public.
- Efficiently and accurately coordinate, communicate, and perform administrative tasks to support clinic operations, billing, communication, etc.
- Provide and coordinate administrative support to manager, supervisor, and clinic staff.
- Lead and support the PAA.
- Maintain a pleasant and welcoming office environment for our families and staff.
- Collaborate with partnering agencies, the public, our families, staff, and management.
- Utilize multiple electronic systems, including, but not limited to Excel, Word, Teams, Adobe and Electronic Health Records to maintain necessary documentation and complete needed tasks.
- Employee will have knowledge of and experience working with families in distress and with varying language and support needs.
- Employee will have a robust understanding of HIPAA and a respect for the dignity and worth of the families served in CABHS.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible office support experience.
Education: Graduation from high school or High School Certificate of completion recognized in the State of Maryland.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted.
Preferred Criteria, Interview Preferences

Experience collaborating with family-serving agencies, management, clinical staff and medical billing task.
4 Years office support experience which includes behavioral health
Work history includes human-service organizations
Understanding of HIPAA
Prefer Multilingual skills, Spanish/English speaker
