Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative catering menus for a variety of events, from corporate gatherings to private celebrations.
• Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, setup, and service.
• Lead and mentor a catering team, ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence.
• Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and create customized menus.
• Manage inventory, control food and labor costs, and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Work with the F&B director to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or Chef, with a strong background in event catering.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and event planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creating exceptional food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A genuine appreciation for the outdoors and the community-driven atmosphere of Montgomery Whitewater.
