Description
As an System Support Specialist , you will provide technical support in concert with the direction of the Information Technology Manager. You will ensure adherence to best practices and proven methodologies to promote continuous information operations, resiliency of systems operations and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans and documentation of server.
The onsite role is in our Tulsa, OK or Richmond, VA office.

Your Impact :
- Ensure systems and applications are effective, reliable, and meet the service delivery needs of all programs.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the disaster recovery, business continuity and resiliency plans.
- Identify and coordinate installation, upgrades, and ongoing support of software packages across organizations.
- Plan, implement and review upgrades of any existing applications, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
- Train technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and / or acquired.
- Maintain security and protects systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
- Coordinate and execute changes that increase performance and availability upon approval for the IT Manager.
- Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical ERP computer resources.
- Provide up-to-date system documentation and inventories.
- Work in concert with software and hardware vendors for problem resolution when necessary.
- Provide advance notification of all planned system and network outages within a strong change control environment and set realistic expectations on availability.
- Coordinate and communicate closely with management and help desk during all unplanned outages.
