Responsibilities
- Inspect properties for fire hazards and enforce regulations
- Respond to requests for information from the public and District staff
- Participate in fire prevention projects such as fuels reduction
- Analyze structure ignition potential in the wildland/urban interface using a science-based approach
- Make mitigation recommendations based on wildland fire behavior
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License required
- Experience in fire prevention and safety inspection preferred
