Job Summary:
The Accounting and Finance Manager will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Implement and oversee cost accounting processes to ensure accurate tracking of production costs, material expenses, and inventory valuation.

Prepare financial statements, internal reports, and company-wide budgets.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal and state tax laws, and internal company policies.

Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze and improve cost efficiencies.

Provide financial forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term strategic financial planning.

Oversee audit preparation, tax filings, and regulatory financial reporting.

Conduct financial risk assessments and provide recommendations to support sound financial decision-making.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).

5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with preference for candidates from manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory control.

Proficiency with GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
