What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Director position at Morningstar Assisted Living - Florida?
We are looking for an Activity Director to join our team and help to enrich the lives of our residents. The Activity Director plans and oversees the recreational programs and events at the facility. Designs activities and monthly calendar to provide entertainment, encourage socialization, relaxation and improve daily living skills.
- Maintain calendar of activities
- Coordinating and communicating resident activities with staff
- Encourage participation.
- Maintain activity budget.
- Assist residents with shopping needs.
- Develop and maintain volunteers.
- Coordinate entertainment and special events.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
