What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Morrison Industries LLC?
Morrison Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team at our corporate office located at 1825 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505-6240. This team member will work Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and will work 40 hours a week.
The starting compensation rate ranges from $20.00-$21.00/hour.
Essential Functions:
Process incoming payments in compliance with company policies and procedures
Process and run credit cards
Set up new accounts and provide maintenance on current accounts
Handle inquiries from customers regarding payments and billing issues
Compile and maintain spreadsheets for month end reporting
Other tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
College degree preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office- especially Excel
Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task
