What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator position at Morrison Industries?
Laser Operator
We are looking for a Laser Operator to fill an opening immediately in our Morrison, Tennessee location. To be eligible for the Laser Operator position, you must commit to the following questions.
- Am I comfortable taking responsibility for myself, never allowing myself to be a victim?

- Am I strong enough to share specific feedback with my colleagues?
- Will I be able to ensure clarity? Whether I have to ask for it or give it?

The qualified Laser Operator will be able to perform the following tasks and meet the following requirements
- The Laser Operator must have 1 year of laser experience
- The Laser Operator must be able to read a tape measure and calipers
- The Laser Operator must have the ability to operate hand tools (grinders, drills, etc.)
- The Laser Operator must have a sound understanding of computer skills
- The Laser Operator must have basic reading, writing, and math skills
- A willingness to learn and work overtime when required
- The Laser Operator must have excellent knowledge of forklift and overhead (5 ton) crane
- The Laser Operator must be able to lift 35 lbs and withstand working in high temperatures
- The Laser Operator is required to pass a drug screen and background check
