Position Summary:
The Morrison Millwork Director of Operations is responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that align with company goals and growth targets. The Director of Operations is responsible for keeping our company’s Operations team efficient and innovative in the approach and execution of Operations strategies. The Director of Operations is responsible for maximizing our Operations team’s potential, establishing goals, and supporting strategic plans through regular communication and training opportunities for team members.
Essential Roles:
Participates in the hiring and training departmental managers (Service, Warehouse, Delivery).
Manage Operations departmental managers through coaching, discipline and providing consistent feedback for improvement.
Maintain knowledge of all operational processes with an effort to improve.
Leads in coordinating and integrating efforts among operations and sales teams to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
Establishes metrics, guidelines and standards for operational efficiency and effectiveness to be measured and analyzed.
Ensure all installation jobs are scheduled and invoiced appropriately for subcontractors.
Assist the Operations team in daily operations to ensure overall team success.
