Customer Service/Sales Assistant
Moslow Wood Products is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service/Sales Assistant to join our team at a wood product manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, answering phone calls, assisting with pricing inquiries, supporting the sales team, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of orders into our system.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, friendly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position supports both customer service and sales functions to help drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide product information and pricing
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure on-time order fulfillment
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service
- Support the sales team with quote preparation and follow-ups
- Track and update sales orders and customer status
- Assist in maintaining customer records and sales data
- Help identify and pursue opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Coordinate sample requests and product information for prospective customers
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computers and order entry software
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Prior customer service, order entry, or sales support experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$18 per hour or based on experience. One will also be eligible for employee benefits which include Medical, Dental & Vision Plans (MWP contribution), 401K Retirement Plan with company match, and Paid Vacation.
