Air Automation Engineering is currently seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to join our growing team in Minnesota. With automation and assembly markets on the rise, there is plenty of growth potential for an individual that is motivated and hard working. You would be managing a team of outside sales engineers that solves problems and increases productivity by selling some of the top brands in the industry including Epson, Schunk, Ingersoll-Rand, Stanley Assembly Technologies, Panasonic, Makita and many more. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing effective sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Organize Joint Sales Calls: Help facilitate joint sale calls during supplier visits.
  • Set Sales Targets: Establishing realistic and achievable sales goals for the team.
  • Build Supplier Relationships: Maintaining and nurturing relationships with key suppliers.
  • Identify Sales Opportunities: Seeking out new potential clients and sales opportunities.
  • Oversee Sales Proposals: Managing the preparation and negotiation of sales proposals.
  • Manage Sales Team: Leading, training, and mentoring sales team members to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Analyze Sales Data: Compiling and analyzing sales figures and market trends to forecast future sales.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Working closely with marketing, production, and other departments to ensure product alignment with market needs.
  • Financial Analysis: Performing a financial analysis of products and forecasting sales requirements.
  • Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports and presentations for management.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous sales management experience
  • Ability to build business relationships.
  • High level of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong work drive
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel. (We reimburse mileage).
