This entry-level, part-time position, plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials from one place to another. Normal hours are from 11 AM to 3 PM every workday.
Job Responsibilities

Receiving Deliveries: Inspecting and documenting incoming shipments to ensure accurate and complete inventory records.
- Inspects for damage, compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and Documents discrepancies.
- Distribute incoming inventory to correct locations.

Shipping Orders: Preparing and packaging products for shipment, ensuring they meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
- Assist Customers at the Pickup Counter.
- Limited VMI checking and replenishing of items at customer locations.
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, organizing warehouse space, and conducting regular inventory audits.

Communication: Coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments to streamline the shipping and receiving processes.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Precision in handling and documenting shipments to avoid errors.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy packages (50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and other related applications.
- Team Collaboration: Working effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
