Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems supporting large-scale gaming applications.
- Own the technical design and implementation of new feature development.
- Rebuild leaderboard and progressive league systems for tournament play, including automated prize payouts.
- Develop backend systems for event-driven tournaments with scheduled start and stop times.
- Prototype and implement new tournament formats, working on cutting-edge gaming innovations.
- Proficiency in Java or Go (ideally both).
- Experience with Java Spring Boot framework.
- Strong cloud expertise, particularly AWS and Kubernetes.
- Database scaling experience with DynamoDB (NoSQL) and Redis (MySQL).
- Expertise in event-driven distributed systems and backend feature development.
- Experience building consumer-facing, high-scale distributed applications.
- Background in gaming, entertainment, social casino, or traditional gaming industries.
