Our client, a leader in consumer goods, is looking to hire an Associate Brand Manager. This role will be hybrid, onsite 2 days per week near West Loop in Chicago, IL.
**This is a 3-month W2 contract with benefits!**
As an Associate Brand Manager, you will be responsible for managing product marketing initiatives, overseeing SKU portfolio management, and supporting sales enablement strategies. You will work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing plans, analyze competition, and ensure the execution of key brand and budget initiatives. This role is ideal for a project-oriented marketer looking to gain experience in brand management!
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in consumer goods or a related field
- Experience in project-based work and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and prioritize insights
- Working knowledge of SKU management, sales enablement, and budget tracking
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with shopper marketing or project management
- Familiarity with Nielsen reporting and digital marketing platforms
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee SKU vetting, creation, and delisting strategies based on market performance
- Track and manage A&CP budgets, including approvals and financial reporting
- Work with internal and external teams to optimize email marketing, digital incentives (Ibotta/DNC), and social media strategies
- Partner with finance, packaging, and claims management teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives
- Conduct territory analysis and ad-hoc Nielsen reporting to inform marketing strategies
- Ensure promotional plans, including coupon activations, are executed on time and align with brand objectives
