Our large finance and advisory company is looking for a contract Legal Administrator . The position is remote; only the MST or PST time zones - manager prefers the candidate to be in Salt Lake City, UT
Our client has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Administrator to assist the legal team. With a primary focus on reviewing NDAs and vendor contracts, working on draft amendments and completing due diligence requests on behalf of the company. Our team needs a motivated, reliable, and collaborative self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and be part of a growing company.
The primary focus for this role will be organizing the Google Drive with all current contracts, which is currently disorganized. The role is very tactical and administrative in nature. Should be a strong communicator and proacitve.
Contract Duration : 5 Months (to potential hire)
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years prior experience working on commercial legal and business matters as a legal assistant / paralegal, or similar role, preferably in an in-house setting
- Excellent writing abilities
- Possess superior attention to detail
- Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to track deadlines, partner with the cross-functional partners to obtain relevant information, and project manage / meet time-sensitive deadlines to respond to all legal process served on the Company
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple requests across various departments and subject matter areas
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle time-sensitive requests
- Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts
- Proficiency with ANY of these - Microsoft Office software, G-Suite, Airtable, Ivalua, IronClad, or Confluence
- Experience in editing and proofreading and creating PowerPoint presentations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-starting β you are eager to roll up your sleeves and get things done and work on a wide variety of projects and legal matters
- Experience coordinating and driving legal projects to successful completion
