Role Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager “RM” oversees Dental/Orthodontic practices. The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. To include guiding field managers, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.
Reporting Lines:
The Regional Operations Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations. The Regional Operations Manager will lead practice managers and/or area directors. Reporting lines and direct reports may change from time to time in line with the requirements of the position.
Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Oversight: Provide tactical leadership and guidance to practice leaders, ensuring effective operations across all locations.
- Financial Management: Monitor and drive the financial performance of practices, establishing both short-term and long-term business growth benchmarks.
- Team Development: Lead and support a team of professionals to foster a positive work environment and enhance team member and patient experiences.
- Quality Care Delivery: Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure high standards of patient care are consistently met.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support and implement company-wide initiatives that align with the organization’s goals
- Recruitment & Development: Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of direct reports; implement continuous education programs.
- Relationship Management: Foster trust with with clinical teams and serve as their advocate.
- Communication: Establish effective communication channels; facilitate regular meetings, coaching sessions, and feedback loops.
- Operational Performance: Analyze data to enhance practice efficiency, productivity, and financial health; diagnose operational issues and lead improvement efforts.
- Patient Advocacy: Ensure a best-in-class patient experience; monitor feedback and address concerns promptly.
- Compliance & Safety: Champion compliance with legal and ethical standards; conduct training and audits to uphold safety practices.
- Collaboration: Work with various leadership teams (HR, Finance, Marketing) to align goals and drive operational success.
Experience & Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- Three - four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have a valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
- Must be able to travel to office locations.
