Summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Manager strategically leads and coordinates human resources functions in our organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role is essential in shaping our company culture, supporting employee engagement, and driving organizational success.

Essential Functions:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent

3. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees

5. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

6. Maintain pay plan and benefits program

7. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

8. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

9. Report to management and provides decision support through HR metrics

10. Cultivate a positive working environment and promote organizational values

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive role
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. (Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Experience:

· Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive role

· Experience with HRIS and ATS systems, (ie. ADP Workforce Now) strongly preferred

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experienced in change management and organizational development

· Experience working in human services, health care, not for profit, or other similar industry strongly preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification strongly preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,029.00 - $90,000.00 per year
