Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution
- Coordinate Large-Scale Events: Manage marquee events like Octoberfest and other seasonal celebrations, ensuring they create memorable guest experiences.
- Event Objective Alignment: Understand event themes and goals to develop comprehensive plans, timelines, and strategies for seamless execution.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Plan events within financial and time constraints, ensuring quality while meeting expectations.
- Booking Live Music and Entertainment: Research, secure, and coordinate performers and live entertainment to elevate event vibes with booking agent.
- Curate Community Connections: Identify opportunities to create experiential events that enhance the resort’s atmosphere and foster community engagement.
Operations and Staffing
- Venue Preparation: Oversee venue setup and teardown, coordinating with staff and departments to ensure all requirements are met.
- On-Site Coordination: Manage logistics on event day, including handling any unexpected issues with quick problem-solving and professionalism.
- Team Communication: Work closely with resort teams to define role-specific staffing needs and assign responsibilities for event execution.
Post-Event Evaluation
- Assess Event Success: Track key metrics, gather feedback from attendees, and submit evaluations to the team. Propose improvements for future events.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18-$20 hourly depending on experience

Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a similar coordination role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Creative mindset with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with teams, vendors, and partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and skilled in managing budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts.
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Must meet criminal background standards and be authorized to work in the United States.
