Mountain Construction Company is a leading provider of asphalt paving and heavy highway construction services, specializing in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of asphalt paving and heavy highway construction projects.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to lead and manage multiple asphalt paving and heavy highway construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, a strong understanding of paving techniques, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of asphalt paving and highway construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and laborers, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines, taking into account weather, material availability, and other factors.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Contract Management: Oversee project contracts and work with legal teams to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and ensure the worksite is compliant with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, costs, timelines, and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the asphalt paving or heavy highway construction industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of asphalt paving, road construction, and heavy civil construction processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, while fostering collaboration and maintaining morale.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to job sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
