Mountain Home Health Services provides quality home health care to thousands of individuals in the state of Georgia and North Carolina. We are growing in the Hayesville, North Carolina area and looking to add a Home Health Office Scheduler to our Home Health team at our Hayesville, North Carolina office. This is a Monday thru Friday, on-site position.

Overview
The Home Health Office Scheduler / Coordinator will coordinate and maintain staff and client schedules to ensure all client needs are met daily. The Home Health Office Scheduler coordinates all referrals including notification of insurance providers of prior authorization and service coverage; schedules patient visits according to care plans, verifies timesheets with schedules, prepares missed visit forms to physicians and managed care organizations; and assists management in day-to-day staffing and other administrative support services.
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior home health agency, central scheduling, medical front/back office or medical assistant experience preferred
- Microsoft Office and scheduling software computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and strong data entry skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Process oriented, meticulous attention-to-detail, and ability to work as part of a team in a high-energy, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a team environment
