Job Title: Maintenance – Campground
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to help ensure the upkeep and smooth operation of our campground facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to handle various maintenance tasks to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on campground facilities, including restrooms, cabins, and common areas
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed
- Maintaining and repairing outdoor structures like picnic tables, fences, and fire pits
- Conducting regular inspections of the campground grounds to identify and address maintenance issues
- Assisting with seasonal preparations, including setting up or closing down amenities and equipment
- Maintaining the campground’s landscaping, including lawn care, tree trimming, and ensuring walkways are clear
- Ensuring the proper functioning of campground amenities like showers, laundry facilities, and recreational areas
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Keeping maintenance equipment in good working condition and reporting any issues
- Collaborating with campground staff to support special events or projects
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or repair experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and in varying weather conditions
