What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Sampling Technician position at Mountain Rose Herbs?

Housed at our Main Campus location, our quality control department is key to this success. All of our products are analyzed in-house using organoleptic and laboratory methods, and our Quality Control department only releases botanicals for sale when they meet the most stringent specifications. Our inspection process begins with the sampling technician, starting at the moment products arrive at our facility. As a Sampling Technician, you will:
- Learn and follow sampling procedures and protocols
- Learn and follow lab procedures and protocols
- Sample incoming materials for laboratory testing and quality control approval
- Accurately record detailed findings
- Move products as necessary for sampling
- Communicate with the Quality Control Lab Manager, Lead Laboratory Technician, Office lead, and Receiving personnel.
This position is integral to all we do here at Mountain Rose Herbs.
