We are looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager. In this position you will oversee the success of our sales department. You will be tasked with the sales team staffing as well as their mentorship. MTN View Auto Group strives to aid in both personal and departmental growth therefore it is crucial for our Sales Managers to provide encouragement, support, and training for their staff. Along with the management of staff you will be expected with upholding the profitability of your department by analyzing current sales data to ensure that a balanced vehicle inventory is maintained on the lot.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing, initiating training and/or motivational meetings for the sales team
  • Assisting sales consultants in closing sales transactions and exceeding sales targets
  • Create an integrity-based culture in which everyone is held accountable
  • Coach sales associates with effectively closing deals and provide guidance to increase sales success
  • Developing action plans for continued business growth
  • Build relationships with customers and employees to develop the culture we desire in our dealership, among our team and in our community.
  • Review monthly commission sheets, productivity reports, salespersons’ monthly forecast, and profit performance with the Dealer
  • Utilize sales data to create efficient sales strategies that will ensure the dealership supersedes unit sales quotas.
  • Purchase used vehicles and ensure that a balanced vehicle inventory is maintained on the lot
  • Ensure that all units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis
  • Require that standards are maintained for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining vehicles

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent required
  • Only seasoned Sales Managers with an Automotive Dealership will be considered.
  • All applicants must have a minimum of TWO full years of experience and be able to provide excellent references of job history and a proven track record to be considered.
  • At least 1 year experience in F&I with an Automotive Dealership
  • Focused leadership, enthusiastic outlook, detail-orientated, impeccable sense of urgency
  • Familiar with V-Auto, Vin-Solutions, CDK, Four Eyes, Conversica, Dealertrack or Routeone, Co-Video is a plus!
  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results and clean driving record
  • Must be insurable by Company insurance carrier
