Job Summary and Qualifications
- Under the direction of the Vice President of Quality/ Risk, you will be responsible for providing organizational assistance and guidance with performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness functions at MountainView Hospital
- You will develop and maintain standards in conjunction with the medical staff and Administration, and shall facilitate support services to the medical staff peer review process
- You will provide consultation relative to the development of generic and department-specific screens which shall meet Joint Commission, CMS and regulatory requirements and will be involved in hospital-wide performance improvement projects
- You will complete data review, abstraction, extraction, and analysis within established time frames and deadlines as directed and utilize process redesign, teaching, project management, performance measurement, and data analysis skills to develop and educate the organization
- You will assist in providing direction and oversight during regulatory surveys/visits, writing and developing collaborative and comprehensive plans of correction as appropriate, and creating sustainable measures of success if indicated
What qualifications you will need:
- ASN Required with current enrollment in BSN program required
- Bachelor’s degree, MSN or other healthcare related degree strongly preferred

Registered Nurse licensed in State of Nevada required

3 years recent experience in medical staff peer review/quality management preferred; previous computer experience required

Proven ability to review, analyze and interpret data; understanding and ability to teach nursing theory
- Ability to perform a variety of administrative support duties which require a substantial knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Services Policies and Procedures, and Tools in Quality Management
