Role Overview

As a Business Development / Sales Representative at Moving Proz, your primary role will be to develop lasting relationships with potential and existing clients, providing tailored moving solutions that enhance their operational transitions. You will act as a critical link between our clients and the range of services we offer, ensuring a seamless, efficient moving experience tailored to each client's specific needs.

  • Reports To: General Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Building: Initiate contact and cultivate relationships with potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and direct outreach efforts.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Form alliances with commercial real estate firms, corporate relocation contacts, and facility managers to consistently generate new business.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities for business expansion.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Moving Proz at industry events and conferences, promoting our services and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Sales Management: Manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, maintaining a robust pipeline of commercial prospects.
  • Service Customization: Conduct detailed assessments of client needs to develop personalized moving plans and accurate pricing strategies.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine your sales techniques and industry knowledge.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales or business development, preferably within the moving, logistics, or similar industries.
  • Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform in B2B sales, with a proven track record of successful client acquisition and retention.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate and negotiate with high-level decision-makers and business executives.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple sales projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in CRM software, Google Suite, and modern sales tracking tools.
  • Travel: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to conduct on-site consultations as needed.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
