Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires expertise in general ledger reconciliation, financial management, and analysis, making it essential for the successful operation of our organization.
Full time and Part Time Accountant and Bookkeeper.
MUST BE Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office & Payroll platforms. Experience in accounting, financial statements, payroll processing and payroll taxes, individual tax preparation. Corporate and business tax preparation are a huge plus. Salary/compensation will be determined by experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage financial transactions and oversee financial management processes.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and interpret financial reports for stakeholders.
- Execute bank reconciliation to maintain accurate cash flow records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including SOX regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide organizational planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and SOX compliance is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
