Job Overview: As a Sales Coordinator, you will support our Sales team by assisting with the preparation of quotes, order management, and collaboration with both internal teams and external customers. You will work closely with Sales VP’s, Directors, and Representatives across various regions to ensure smooth sales processes, accurate documentation, and effective communication. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the food equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist Sales VP’s, Directors, and Representatives with product research, pricing, and order management for various projects.
- Quote Creation: Prepare accurate customer quotes using Auto Quotes software, make necessary revisions, and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with outside Sales Representatives to gather quotes, spec sheets, pricing, lead times, and other relevant project details.
- Auto Quotes Administration: Manage Auto Quotes system, including updating manufacturer discount settings, pricing, and customer contact information.
- Product Catalog Management: Add and maintain catalog items for products not listed in Auto Quotes, ensuring all product details (descriptions, pricing, spec sheets, images) are accurate.
- Order Tracking: Estimate freight costs and track orders to ensure timely delivery of sold equipment.
- Customer and Manufacturer Meetings: Collaborate with Sales Representatives and manufacturers to stay informed about new products, promotions, pricing changes, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a sales coordination or administrative role, ideally within the food equipment or related industry.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Auto Quotes or similar quoting software is a plus.
- Customer-Centric: A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Location: This role is based in Wheeling, IL, and requires in-person presence with some work from home opportunities.
