This is a temporary, remote position, in Prudhoe Bay, AK, with an expected duration of one (1) year, with the potential for additional work scope to be added. Anticipated start date is late January or early February 2025. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.
Job Purpose
The Electrical Field Foreman is a working foreman position that will supervise the physical workforce in Construction installations for the electrical discipline. The foreman will ensure that procedures are established and followed and that safe work standards are understood and practiced.
Essential Job Functions:
· Supervise and control the execution of all electrical functions of the assigned project and outline work program, designating critical areas and priorities.
· Review and approve field manpower requisitions for the employment of craft labor.
· Provide detailed scheduling of daily construction activities and coordination between WORLEY and subcontractors to avoid conflicts.
· Analyze electrical requirements and other critical items to determine the best work method.
· Supervise electrical operations in accordance with company, client and agency health, safety & environmental policies, and regulations.
· Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction site to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met and are accountable for safe work practices.
· Read specifications such as blueprints to determine requirements and to plan procedures.
· Record information such as personnel, production, daily labor and operational data on specified forms and reports.
· Read and understand wiring schematics, design drawings, and specifications.
· Responsible for use and care of the tools and equipment commonly employed in industrial construction such as hydraulic/electric conduit benders, knockout punch sets, cable pullers, meggers, hi-pot equipment, volt meters, multi-testers, and ammeter.
· Set and secure electrical distribution equipment including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, power panels and instrument and control junction boxes.
· Install power, control and instrumentation circuits ranging from 24V DC up to 13.8KV.
· Bend, cut, thread, and install conduit.
· Install and terminate wiring.
· Check out and troubleshoot simple electric circuits and electrical devices and machinery.
· Accountable for testing, troubleshooting, installing power distribution and motor control circuits.
· Mentor apprentices with the intent of creating competent future journeymen not only in the electrical trade, but also in the Worley safety culture.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to:
· Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.
· Standing for prolonged periods of time.
· Driving for prolonged periods of time in the dark and inclement weather.
· Ability to climb scaffold, ramps, stairs, equipment, portable ladders, and/or wellhouse/tank/facility fixed ladders of 20 feet or greater.
· Ability to wear and utilize fall protection within manufacturer specifications.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
· Carry 50 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.
· Push/pull 60 lbs. sled for 20 feet.
· Push/pull 90 lbs. cart for 20 feet.

External Qualifications
· Must possess current Alaska Electrical Journeymen Certificate of Fitness.
· Associate degree in electrical technology or a four (4) year apprenticeship program may be substituted for four (4) years of field experience, provided the industrial electrical experience requirement is met.
· 5 years of Petrochemical or Industrial Electrical experience.
· 3-5 years of effectively managing and leading Electrical technicians.
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Preferred Qualifications
· North Slope construction experience.
· Construction Quality Management Certification.
