Job Overview
- We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
- You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
Description
In this role, you will work independently to assess Veterans' disabilities and complete DBQs. You will NOT make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all decisions using your findings.
This position requires reviewing and assessing 4 Veterans per day on average. You will work as an Independent Contractor, approximately 2-3 days per week.
Requirements
- You must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school.
- You must hold an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
- You must meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
