MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a Warehouse Supervisor in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area!
Pay: $24 / hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead andcommunicate effectivelywith a team to improvequality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Maintain asafe and compliantwork environment in alignment with company policies.
- Plan andschedule productionto meet department goals and company requirements.
- Coordinate workflows and schedules withother departmentsto ensure seamless operations.
- Supervise and support up to30 hourly production employees.
- Adjust workforcebased on workload and production demands.
- Troubleshoot andresolve production issuesto minimize downtime.
- Identify areas forprocess improvementand implement efficiency solutions.
- Enforcecompany policies and procedures, including safety, quality, productivity, and HR guidelines.
- Workextended hours and weekendsas needed to meet operational demands.
- Drive and implementLean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum3 years of supervisory experiencein amanufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Strongmath skillsfor production tracking and analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitudeand familiarity with machinery/packaging equipment (preferred).
- Knowledge ofQuality Systems (ISO 9001)and safety protocols.
- Strong decision-makingand problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with5S and Lean Manufacturing(preferred).
- Proficiency in usingmeasurement tools(e.g., tape measure, digital calipers).
- Microsoft Office proficiency(Word, Excel).
- Must pass adrug screening and background check.
