Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Childcare Teacher to join our team and be a float in our 2 Two Year Old classrooms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, skilled at creating engaging lesson plans, and committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all children in your care at all times.
- Foster strong relationships with children and their families, maintaining open and professional communication.
- Monitor and document children’s progress, including their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assist children with daily routines such as mealtime, toileting, and naptime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team.
- Follow all state regulations and center policies to ensure compliance and quality care.
Qualifications:
- CDA (Child Development Associate) certification, Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic childcare environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with flexible hours based on classroom needs.
- 4 10 hour work week with extra day off during the week.
