About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the vessel load list is compliant with customs regulations and internal rules.
Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and monitor the load list, checking information from terminals and internal systems to ensure accuracy. You will also communicate with internal and external parties to clarify any issues related to the load list.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load List Management: Prepare and monitor the load list, checking information from terminals and internal systems.
- Cargo Verification: Check that MSC cargo is on the load list and loaded correctly.
- Cleanse Load List: Roll or cancel bookings missing proper documentation, cut-offs, and/or no shows according to customs regulations and internal rules.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Compare data in internal systems and terminal systems, identifying discrepancies and communicating with terminals to resolve issues.
- Schedule Updates: Investigate and communicate all vessel schedule changes to internal and external parties.
- Collaboration: Work together with various internal departments, including Documentation and Planning.
