DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gains industry knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.
- Rotates through various roles within the Customer Solutions team, learning, observing, and assisting associates currently performing those functions.
- Learns MSC's products, services, solutions processes, and culture.
- Analyzes, writes, maintains, and presents data utilizing Excel or other data visualization tools to support decision making process.
- Develops skills needed for career in industrial distribution.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of how Solutions team utilizes technology to improve overall effectiveness with mobile applications.
- Develops skills needed for a career in industrial distribution.
- Supports assigned business manager with project work.
- Presents intern project results to business leaders.
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC s mission.
- Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
- INDICATES ESSENTIAL DUTIES
EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma required.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office software required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
- Positive, high-energy approach to assignments and a willingness to learn quickly required.
- A valid driver s license is required.
