Blue Crew (Part Time/Seasonal)

Overview: Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (MSG Sports) is a leading professional sports company, with a collection of assets that includes: the New York Knicks (NBA) and the New York Rangers (NHL); two development league teams – the Westchester Knicks (NBAGL) and the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL); and esports teams through Counter Logic Gaming, a leading North American esports organization, and Knicks Gaming, an NBA 2K League franchise. MSG Sports also operates two professional sports team performance centers – the MSG Training Center in Greenburgh, NY and the CLG Performance Center in Los Angeles, CA. More information is available at www.msgsports.com. Role Summary: The New York Rangers are casting for their 2023-2024 Blue Crew team! The Blue Crew set the standard in sports for fan engagement and will continue to raise the bar this coming season. The Blue Crew are at all Rangers home games and participate in t-shirt tosses, on court / ice promotions, in-game entertainment, and work outside events for the Rangers brand throughout the season. This is a part time seasonal position based in New York. Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends (start time: 2.5 hours before game time) and to work a minimum of 75% of all home games. Specific Functions/Activities Summary:

• Entertain and energize crowds at Rangers home games.
• Engage with fans during promotions on the ice and in the stands.
• Communicate directly with large groups of fans during Rangers home games.
• Work with other entertainers on special presentations
• Represent the Rangers at special events, viewing parties, clinics / camps, charity events and promotional engagements

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Enjoy entertaining in a family-oriented environment, and be able to interact with large crowds, small groups and individuals, especially children.
• Available to work nights and weekends (start time: 2.5 hours before game time)
• Must be available to work a minimum of 75% of all home games.
• Be energetic and outgoing.
• Strong personal skills
• Be prompt, with a flexible schedule.
• Professional and respectful
• Team-player and punctual
• Previous leadership experience in the sports/ entertainment industry preferred.
• A live performance background is encouraged.
