We are looking for a friendly, professional and customer-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure exceptional customer experiences by providing efficient and personalized service. Your top priority will always be our customers, as you strive to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Job Summary:
· Deliver exceptional customer service to both walk-in and phone-in customers for laundry pickup and drop-off services.
· Receive garments from customers, accurately record relevant information, and initiate the order process.
· Verify customer information and ensure order details are correct and provide customers with clear instructions regarding the process, turnaround time, and any special requirements.
· Accept payments from customers, handle cash or credit card transactions accurately, and maintain the cash register. Issue receipts and provide accurate change when necessary. Follow established cash handling procedures to ensure the security of funds.
· Thoroughly inspect garments upon drop-off and pick-up to identify any existing damage, special cleaning requirement or special requests.
· Ensure garments are properly detailed and stored to prevent mix-ups or loss.
· Maintain a clean and organized environment to uphold the store's exemplary appearance standards.
· Maintain accurate records of customer orders, track their progress. Communicate any delays, changes, or issues promptly and professionally, and provide alternative solutions or accommodations as necessary.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing personalized service and demonstrating a genuine interest in their needs and preferences.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
· 6 months previous experience in customer service or retail role.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handling.
· Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
· Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns with empathy and a problem-solving mindset.
· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
